Dr. Sekhar Sankar Wariar

Cardiology

Dr. Sekhar S. Wariar is working as Specialist Cardiologist at Aster Medical Centre, Al Qusais. He has passed MBBS and Doctorate in Medicine (MD) in Internal Medicine from B J medical college, Ahmedabad.

After practicing as General Physician, he passed his Doctorate in Medicine (DM) in Cardiology from Armed Forced Medical College under the Pune University, India.

He worked as Cardiologist at M.V. Diabetes Speciality Centre, Chennai, Vijaya Hospital, Chennai, and Apollo Hospital, Chennai. Later he shifted to Kerala, where he was associated with Lakshmi Hospital, Cochin, KVM Hospital, Chertala, Cochin Hospital, Cochin, and EMS Memorial Cooperative Hospital & Research Centre Ltd, Perinthalmanna.

He has been regularly participating in various scientific meetings as faculty. His interest is Preventive and Rehabilitative Cardiology. He has actively participated in programs to create awareness about cardiovascular diseases and their prevention in Kerala.

Since his relocation in Dubai in January, 2013, he has been faculty in many CMEs (with DHA & MOH credit hours). He enjoys conducting awareness talks in schools, corporate and in various cultural and social forums.
