Profile

Dr Prabhat Kumar is an accomplished cardiologist trained from the premier medical institute of India, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, where he completed his MBBS followed by MD in Internal Medicine and DM in cardiology. After his training in India and a short private practice in India he relocated to the United States, where he completed his fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and then was on the faculty of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as cardiac electrophysiologist for four years. He moved to UAE to be closer to his family in India. While in the United States he was very actively involved in research in addition to clinical work and published many research articles in reputed journals. Apart from clinical and noninvasive cardiology Dr. Kumar has a special interest in Cardiac rhythm disorders.
