Dr. Ghazala has over 18 years of experience as a Specialist in Gynaecology & Obstetrics and has been working in the UAE (Sharjah and Dubai) for the last 9 years and (the last 3 and half years she worked as a consultant in Al Qassmi hospital, which is a Tertiary Hospital for the Northern Emirates.). Before coming to  the UAE, Dr. Ghazala served in Saudi Arabia for almost 16 years in the field of Obstetrics & Gyneacology at various levels, which gave her a multicultural, diversified clinical exposure as well as a good command over the Arabic language .

Currently, she is in UAE Since Dec 2006 and has had the privilege of working under the HAAD, DHA, and Ministry of Health with their respective medical licenses. Moreover, she has had the opportunity to work in reputable JCI accredited private hospitals across the UAE, recognizing and meeting the high standards of medical care in the private sectors. Though most of her experiences have dealt with complicated inpatient and out patient obstetric and gyneacology cases, her keen interest is in the welfare of middle-aged women, ranging from setting up of a midlife clinic, organizing well women check ups, screening for women’s cancers, prevention of major medical problems, and emphasizing on a healthy life style management. Her interest has led her to pursue the credentials from the North Amercian Menopause Society. Dr. Ghazala’s interests also extend to  research work and she has managed to produce two original articles, published in reputable indexed journals in the last 4 years. She has a passion for teaching and is a part of the visiting adjunct faculty of the College of Medicine, the University of Sharjah since Feb 2009.
