Dr. Rakesh Kumar has completed his MBBS (1994) and MD (1999) from Rajasthan University. He has more than 10 years of experience in India and he was associated with IIT Delhi Hospital. Prior to joining Aster DM Healthcare in 2009, he worked as a Registrar in Medicine at SMS Hospital in various departments of Medicine. From 2000 onwards he worked at SGPGI in the Gastroenterology department where he had a short stint at Gastroenterology diseases and their management. He also worked as a physician in the IIT Delhi Hospital. Dr. Rakesh is an active speaker at various forums and has been delivering medical lectures of public health interest on various platforms. He has been actively participating in various research activities related to diabetes and hypertension.
