Dr Shweta Gupta completed her MBBS in 2005 and MS (OBGY) IN 2008 from IMS, BHU, Varanasi, India. After which she acquired training in obstetrics and gynaecological ultrasonography, In vitro fertilisation (IVF), laparoscopy and medical education training from renowned centres across India

She has over 8 years of work experience, first as a Senior Resident at Dr. BSA Hospital, Delhi, the as a Specialist gynecologist at Cantonment hospital, lucknow, as an Assistant Professor at MGMCRI, Pondicherry and as an Attending Consultant at Max super specialty hospital, Delhi, India.

She has 9 publications to her credit in national as well as international journals. She has given paper as well as poster presentations in national conferences. She has attended special clinics and community rural programs conducted by Mahatma Gandhi medical college and research institute like colposcopy clinic and postpartum sterilization camps.

Her clinical experience includes the management of normal and high-risk pregnancies, normal deliveries, caesarean sections, other operative procedures, and obstetrics & gynecological emergencies. Furthermore, she has managed gynecological cases, menstrual disorders, menopausal problems, infertility, gynecological cancer, pap smear screening, family planning procedures, contraception advice. She has an extensive knowledge base in pre-pregnancy counseling and managing early pregnancy problems like miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, antenatal and postnatal care.

She believes in providing medical treatment to women, focusing on issues related to the reproductive system and to perform periodic testing and assessment, diagnose illnesses and infections, treat hormonal abnormalities, prescribe medication and counsel patients about birth control or fertility options.
