Dr. Benazir completed her MBBS and PG Diploma in Ophthalmology from the J N Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh and her DNB Ophthalmology from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. She also went on to complete a long-term fellowship in Uvea & Medical Retina from Sankara Nethralaya, Kolkata. She is a trained phacoemulsification surgeon and has presented her research works at various national and international conferences. She was conferred with the ‘Young Researchers Award’ at the Asia – Pacific Academy of ophthalmology congress- AIOS 2013. Dr. Ansari is an active member of the Delhi Ophthalmic Society and All India Ophthalmic Society.
