Dr. Vaqar Khan is a Prosthodontists, a prosthodontist is a specialist who has received three additional years of education and training after dental school. He or she is a specialist in the art of treating damaged and missing teeth. The additional training focuses on mastering the techniques necessary to correct imperfect smiles. Dr. Vaqar has more than 5 years of experience in the field of dentistry and Prosthodontics.

After Dr. Vaqar Khan earned his BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) at Subharati Dental College, India he decided to go further in his studies. He was accepted in Yenepoya Dental College, where he mastered the art and skill of mouth reconstructive procedures. After finishing his three-year Master Degree program, he became a fully certified Prosthodontist.  During his Master Degree, he also finished a one-year Fellowship in Implantology from Nobel Biocare held in the same College.

Before joining Aster he was working as a Director and Full-Time Prosthodontist in one of the branches of Ozone Dental Care India. He has done many complicated cases like full mouth reconstruction, fixed implant denture, cermaic veneers and many cases of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry.

• July 2007 – January 2008  – Completed successfully the certification course in “Implant dentistry” held in Yenepoya Dental College, Mangalore, India in association with Nobel Biocare™. Being a Nobel Biocare Fellow Since 2008, and having placed more than 40 Implants and rehabilitated them.
• May 11th  2008 – Hands on course that is “Complete Denture Made Easy” single step final impression technique conducted by 3M ESPE In association with Indian Dental Association Dakshina Kannada Branch at hotel Taj Manjura, Mangalore, India.
• NOVEMBER 2nd 2012 – Attended a one day workshop on “Immediate Full Arch Prosthetic Rehabilitation Utilizing  All-on-4™ Treatment Concept” held at Kokilaben Hospital Mumbai, India under Dr. Saj A Jivraj the best dentist in Los Angeles, California.
• OCTOBER 13^TH – 14^TH, 2013 – Completed a demonstration and hands on course Complete Implant Prosthetics MiniResidency 2013 held in Delhi under Anacapa Dental Art Institute Los Angeles, California. In this course under Dr. Sajid A Jivraj (DDS, MS, ED.) I have done hands on Implant supported Removable Denture and Implant supported Fixed Denture.
