From severe Allergic Rhinitis & Asthma to winning a bronze medal in relay race.

Mahroosh Muhammad Kamran is an 11-year-old girl, had spent the last 5 years suffering from severe Allergic Rhinitis and Asthma. Her condition had caused her to sneeze and cough all throughout the day, along with episodes of wheezing and ronchi. And the nights were no better either, where Mahroosh had to endure breathing difficulties and wheezing while sleeping.

Simple physical activities such as climbing stairs and walking long distances would induce bronchospasms and fits of coughing. Naturally, her parents got more worried as these symptoms refused to subside. It was then that they started treatment under Specialist ENT Surgeon, Dr. Arijit Audhya, in Aster Clinic Al Quoz. Mahroosh’s initial Peak Flow Meter reading was 150 lit/min. However, with regular medication, treatment, and support from Dr. Arijit and her parents, Mahroosh has made significant strides in the management of her condition.
Recently, Mahroosh won the bronze medal in a relay race. A true testament to her strength and fighting spirit!
