Last year he was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP UK).

He worked in Abu Dhabi for more than 25 years in various major facilities such as Central Hospital, Al Jazeera Hospital, Mafraq Hospital, ADNOC Medical Center and Abu Dhabi Police Specialized Medical Services.

He worked in various subspecialties of internal medicine and cardiology.

During this time he dealt with all different cases for all internal medicine departments like endocrinology dealing with diabetes, thyroid disorders, obesity and other hormonal diseases.

Heart disease, high blood pressure control, and heart disease prevention.

Stomach and liver diseases, chest infections, asthma control, and smoking cessation by advice, assistance, and treatment.  And also all types of blood diseases, anemia and vitamin and mineral disorders.

He participated as a speaker in the International Oncology Conference in Abu Dhabi with a lecture entitled (Smoking and Lung Cancer) and smoking cessation workshops.

Since 2015, he has been giving regular public awareness lectures on the dangers of smoking and ways to quit it.
